School Meals are charged at £2.50 per day.

Each morning during registration, children are asked if they will be having a packed lunch or school lunch that day. If they are having a school dinner, they will also be asked if they are having the ‘meat’, ‘vegetarian’ or ‘jacket potato’ option. This will then be recorded on the register and passed to the school office where school meal tickets will be issued to the children detailing their choice of meal on a daily basis.

All school Meals must be paid for via ParentPay BEFORE the order is placed in the morning. Please do not ask your child to order a school meal unless there are available funds on their ParentPay account.

School lunches must be ordered by 9.15am at the very latest, if your child is late for school and arrives after 9:00 am a packed lunch must be provided by the parent unless we have been notified in advance that the child will be late and will require a school meal.

We would like to remind parents that all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. If you have not taken advantage of the scheme, now is a perfect time to sample the menu! There are no forms for you to complete, all your child needs to do is ask for a school meal during registration.

If you have any queries as to whether or not your child is entitled to free school meals, please visit the school office.

  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.

Your child might also get free school meals if you get any of these benefits and your child is both:

  • younger than the compulsory age for starting school
  • in full-time education

If you receive one of these benefits, PLEASE complete the Free School Meals Application Form below, even if your child already has Universal Infant Free School Meals.  The school receives additional funding for children who are entitled to free school meals and uses it to support their achievement in school.
