Old events –
Thanks to all the donations of Easter eggs raised through non-uniform day, the Easter Bingo was a great success. We had a better turn out than expected which gave us a good atmosphere and made a great profit.
Thank you to Tiverton Town Football Club and Dot for providing the Bingo machine and tickets.
Our 2018 Fete was a huge success!
We were so lucky to have had amazing sunshine on our side.
The variety of stalls, PTFA’S and people from the community that supported our event, as well as the Bar, Mad Mikes, Face painting, Bubble Football, performances in the main ring and piccolo pizza co who helped make it a great success. We would like to thank each and everyone who attended. We would like to extend a massive thank you to the fire brigade who brought their fire engine up for the children and the community to explore and get hands-on with the fire hose.
Thank you to the members of the community for supporting our event, without you we would not have raised as much money as we did.
We welcome your support again next year!
Events Coming Up;
This year instead of a Summer Fete the PTA organised a Jubilee Celebration in conjunction with Sunningmead Community Centre. Held over both sites this was a whole community event and was a great success. There was entertainment, a bar, BBQ, as well as the usual stalls such as tombola, candy floss, bouncy castles, wellie wanging and a raffle to name but a few.
The main arena at Wilcombe School site also offered traditional games, for both children and adults, such as a sack race, egg and spoon race, as well as tug of war. The tug of war proved hugely popular with parents when the staff fielded a team!
