Welcome to the Wilcombe Primary School website and thank you for taking the time to have a look at what our school has to offer. Please browse our website to gain an insight into our philosophy and ethos and find out more about us.

Wilcombe is a nurturing, vibrant and joyful school and is small enough to be able to know and treat every child as an individual. We pride ourselves on the relationships we build between children, staff and parents and aim to create a sense of family across the school community.

Our motto is ‘Learning for Life’. We actively encourage children to develop a positive attitude towards learning so that each child strives to reach their full potential. We place a strong emphasis on the emotional and social development of children so that they are able to develop resilience and tolerance, encouraging them to become good citizens both inside and outside of school now and in the future.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, encouraging the children to fully embrace new experiences, take risks and explore their full potential.

Wilcombe is a happy and caring school, where children enjoy their experiences and leave as well rounded individuals ready for the challenge of High School. We welcome visits to our school. If you would like to come and see what we do, please call the school office and they will make an appointment for you to meet with our Headteacher Charlotte Hill-Jones, or a member of our leadership team, to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
