Sex Education
In primary school, Sex Education focuses on understanding how the body changes as children grow and prepare for puberty. This is taught sensitively and in line with Department for Education guidance.
Parents and carers have the right to withdraw their child from the non-statutory elements of sex education in Years 5 and 6 only. If you would like further information, please contact the school office. Prior to your child being taught the non-statutory elements of RSHE, we will seek your consent.
We work in partnership with families to ensure children receive clear, accurate and age appropriate information in a safe environment.
